The beauty of nature can stimulate people to get outside and give their best walk or run. For those who cannot get outside because of health reasons or the weather, using a treadmill is the best way to get your daily walk in. The top 3 treadmills on Amazon are listed below.
1.Weslo Cadence G 5.9 Treadmill
This is the Weslo Cadence G 5.9 Treadmill, A perfect little cardio machine that is easy to put up and even easier to store away. This treadmill will work you up a nice sweat focusing on anything from weight loss, to endurance training, you can even work on your stamina.
About the product:
The first thing you notice while looking at this treadmill is the basic shape and colors, while it’s not bad to look at it does look small for a treadmill, but that isn’t always a bad thing, this treadmill has a space savor feature! It’s not only easy to assemble and put up, it is also easy to put away with its space savor fold up design.
Let’s say your house doesn’t have much space but you really want to exercise from the comfort of your own home, so you buy this treadmill, making it easy to get out and put away, you can fold it and store it any time you’re done with it making it ideal for pretty much anyone.
The treadmill has two incline positions so you can change the angle, so instead of walking flat, you can walk up a bit of a hill instead, this won’t only burn more calories but give your calves a great workout too, changing positions gives you a whole new level of a workout, giving you more intensity and harder challenges.
It has comfortable cushioning so while you’re walking it’s not hard and clunky giving you a softer landing if you decide to go for a hard run as well as an easy pulse heart monitor and a LCD with priority display so you can track your progress.
It also comes with six personal trainer workouts, each workout designed by certified personal trainers so you’re not just running in the wind you have guidance too.
Firstly, it’s easy to put up and fold away that’s a major advantage for home users with small rooms. It has 2 incline positions to change intensity and angle for a harder workout. The max user weight is around 275lbs but looking at the reviews a lot of people weighing 300lbs+ managed to exercise just fine for quite a lot of months and it’s still in working order.
It’s quite easy to assemble with an average time of 30 minutes to put it together for people who haven’t really built anything.
It’s not loud or noisy so you won’t have to deal with waking up your neighbors or your family.
There aren’t too many disadvantages, some of the reviews complained it was difficult to put up especially the bottom bolts of the treadmill needing sometimes 2 people because of the weight of the treadmill.
Other reviews tell on customer support, having to wait 10 days for a reply only for it to be a blank email.
More worryingly is the fact that this treadmill has the habit of breaking especially the belt you run/walk on in as little as 10 months depending on the user and how they use it.
There are tons of treadmills out there so finding the right one for you can be a little difficult with mixed reviews, there are a lot of good reviews but a lot of bad too, mainly about the belt you run on. So, if you do decide this one is for you bear in mind that you might want to invest in a spare belt for it. Other than that, I think it’s quite decent for a nice little workout at home which you can store away with ease.
- Space saver design. This treadmill can fold up.
- Six personal trainer workouts.
- Two-position incline.
- Comfortable cushioning.
2.Confidence Power Plus Motorized Electric Treadmill
Confidence Power Plus Treadmill is another easy folding treadmill making it again easy to store away, ideal for pretty much anyone big house or small. Bad weather? Not a problem with this machine you don’t have to embrace the outdoors and the harsh weather you can do it from the warmth of your own home.
About the product:
The first thing that came to my mind was that the Power Plus Treadmill looks basic, the frame doesn’t look like it could typically hold or support much weight and could typically be hard if you’re a tall person having to bend over a little to be able to reach the handles.
But I’m not judging a book by its cover, I typically like the black colors used with this product making it look a lot nicer in your home. It can withstand a weight up to 250lbs but I would push for 280lbs to 300lbs walking only!
It has a multifunction LED display screen so you can easily track your progress to see how far you have walked/ran and how many calories burned clearly.
It comes in 2 different colors which is a nice little feature you can choose from giving it a little more of a personal touch. The first color is a nice black color, and the other is more of a cool white with yellow handles and belt.
The treadmill has a 600W power motor, and it typically weighs in at 53lbs as just the machine, but it’s a little heavier as its delivered weighing in at 57lbs, it’s not too heavy but if you’re not used to heavy things I recommend getting the delivery person to bring it in for you.
If you have limited storage space I will give you the dimensions so you can see if it will fit: 49″ x 24″ x 11″.
Again, the main thing for me is the way you can just fold it up and put it away so it doesn’t take up much room and you can use it anywhere in your home.
For its little size, it can hold quite a good amount of weight 250lbs but could possibly be stretched out to 280lbs maybe 300lbs but walking only.
It is quite light weight making it easy to pick up and move without affecting the quality of the workouts you can do using it, and it’s supposed to be quick and easy to assemble according to the reviews.
This can also easily be added to a stand-up desk if your always busy working.
The handles on this treadmill look small and thin which might make them susceptible to breakage if the person using it puts too much weight or pressure onto them.
Another issue I found was the height of the handles, if your quite tall above 5’ 8” it may be a little difficult to reach the handles, you might be forced to bend over a little which could give you a minor backache, although plenty of people over 6 foot said they didn’t need the bars.
Your supposed to be able to walk and run on this treadmill but on the questions and answers a few people were saying that this treadmill was just for walking, and if you did run or jog it makes quite a lot of noise, so really, it’s up to you if you risk jogging on it.
There are no options for incline so it’s just a basic flat treadmill.
The motor also has had some issues with being underpowered and overheating according to some of the negative reviews.
There are some serious reviews on the quality of the overall product, within just a year of purchase broken belts, cracked frames and overheated motor seem to be the popular problems.
It’s not a terrible treadmill, if your goal is just to be more active and lose a slow amount of weight over a long period of time or even a beginner this would be more suited to you, it can be used with a stand up desk while you work so your always on the move, if your quite tall you might want have a little think before buying this, you might end up with back problems if you need the handles.
- Walk or run in the comfort of your own home
- Multi-function LED display
- Folds down for easy storage
- Suitable for users up to 250 lbs
3. LifeSpan TR1200i Folding Treadmill
Lifespan is a professional looking folding treadmill, you can tell by the look you’re going to get an amazing multifunctional workout so expect to be sweating like crazy on this sturdy and reliable treadmill machine.
About the product:
From the first look at the product you see a big stable looking treadmill perfect for beginners but also more advanced runners.
Now let’s get into the specifications a little, it contains a High-performance 2.5 HP motor with a lot more running space than the previous treadmills giving you more room and leeway so you don’t have to concentrate too much on your feet but more what’s in front of you, thanks to the 20 by 56 inch running surface.
This treadmill holds a lot more weight than the other ones giving it more durability, maximum weight 300lbs but giving it a stretch to about 350lbs maybe a little more making it easier for heavier people to be able to exercise.
A nice multicolored LCD console so you can track your time, calories, and your current level.
It also comes with 21 exercise programs targeting different goals, like weight loss, healthy living, sports training, and heart rate programs making it very versatile for anyone and their own goals.
It has up to 15 incline levels! So, you’re always going to be able to get the best workout and strengthen those leg muscles making your everyday life easier.
Best of all you get a lifetime warranty on the frame and the motor in case it gets damaged or faulty.
It’s quite larger than the other treadmills but it still folds up making it a little easier to put it away.
The treadmill comes with 21 implemented exercise programs to pick from so you don’t get bored or if you have no idea what to do for your goals.
The speed of which the treadmill can push itself to is around 0.5 – 11 MPH so you can not only walk or jog but get a little bit of a sprint going too.
Its big and durable so it’s going to last you a lot longer, plus with the life time guarantee you’re going to be running for a long time.
The running belt is quite soft and comfortable according to the reviews, with one person saying it was like walking on 537 baby kittens, if that doesn’t sell it I don’t know what would.
Could take around 30 to 40 minutes to build but it’s quite simple.
It’s not hard to assemble but in the questions and answers one person saying it’s quite heavy to move around.
Some of the other reviews call upon the low quality of the heart detection monitor, saying that it hardly picks up their heart rate making it the poorest quality part about the treadmill.
Most of the other bad views are mainly manufacturing faults with a few errors or non-working components, packaging faults, some items missing and delivery faults, being banged around causing a little damage to the product so it’s just a game of luck really.
I think this treadmill is very stable and durable with a good powerful motor and it seems to have minor issues with the overall product but that doesn’t affect how good the product is if comes to your door step with nothing missing, a few cosmetic flaws I think anyone can turn a blind eye to.
- High performance 2.5 HP motor with a spacious 20-by-56-inch running surface
- Biomechanically correct deck suspension system supports up to 300 pounds
- Multicolored LCD console tracks your time, calories, distance, speed, and more
- 21 exercise programs targeting weight loss, healthy living, sports training, and heart rate programs
- Lifetime warranty on frame and motor
In my conclusion it all really depends on your goals and what your wanting to do on the treadmill, if your wanting hard challenging workouts with different incline levels and is multifunctional then I would go with a more durable and stable treadmill with a reliable motor and some kind of guarantee like the Lifespan treadmill, if I was more of a beginner or working a lot behind a desk I would use the Confidence Power Plus because it’s easy to take away the console and the handles to fit under a desk, and it’s quite light too, if you’re in the middle wanting a decent workout with a few incline levels I would choose Weslo Cadence.
