The overall look of the actual product is quite nice, it is definitely something I would go for in terms of how it looks, it looks very professional and isn’t overly complicated and full of labels and text so you don’t need to read everything, but that can both be a good and a bad thing, most people want to know the servings, flavor and if it has something special different to other pre0workouts.

It has been called the most powerful pre-workout powder containing 1500mg of citrulline which is a non-essential amino acid but is changed into L-arginine in the body, it boosts nitric oxide inside your body making everything more relaxed and work a lot better so you can see why this kind of ingredient would help, it also contains beta-alanine which is also common. These will help give you a huge boost of energy within minutes, it will help you lift more weights, last longer and do more intense workouts and that all stars with your very first use of this product.

You will leave the gym with a great pump and it will also help when you hit a cutting phase and you need the extra energy without tons of added calories.

It contains only science backed ingredients instead of having a load of bad ingredients added in the mix giving you a cleaner pre-workout without the added side effects.

So down to the flavors and taste, I have only been able to try 2 flavors, and I must say the flavors are quite tasty. The first one is watermelon which you can never really go wrong with and it offers a satisfying taste without it being too sweet while being relatively refreshing. The second flavor is blue raspberry, now I am always one for raspberry flavors but some pre-workouts end up with a seriously sweet taste, or sometimes a really sour taste. Expect a nice tangy fruity flavor to tickle those taste buds for blue raspberry.

If your comparing this to any other pre-workouts you might find this one is fairly basic, but basic means it has only a limited amount of ingredients so you don’t have to worry about any bad stuff going into your body, and most of the ingredients are quite clean and good for the body, normally though the more well-known or popular pre-workouts all differ from each other slightly by adding something special or different, like a lot have some form of creatine as a blend to give a better pump, faster recovery and to increase strength and power, or they might have some kind of explosive energy formula, cutting formula, something with a bigger bite than just its bark.

It will give you some energy but can anyone use this? Can someone who has been working out a fair few years now use this? Will it even affect them or benefit them? Or is it mainly for new comers and beginners? I would personally say beginners or new comers, or to be used to help you get through the day.

The price is quite good for this pre-workout while many of the heavy hitter’s charge double the amount, this one seems to have a subtle price for what it is claiming to be selling and what it can do for you, but don’t let that put you off.

Advantages:

Like I have said before its fairly basic in its ingredients but that’s a good sign, you can clearly see what is in it, no gimmicks or fancy blends just basic pure ingredients that are going to give you a nice boost of energy for your workouts.

The flavors seem to be quite delicious looking at the customer reviews for this product, they all say it tastes good and the watermelon flavor is the best out of the two so far.

Most of the customer reviews tell the same thing I have said about it being basic but they do say it does the job, it doesn’t knock your socks off but it does do the job.

The look of the product is well made and professional.

You don’t get a sudden massive rush with this product or any tingles or jitters making it nice and subtle, used best 30 minutes prior to your workout.

Disadvantages:

Most of the critical reviews for this product seem to be based around its effects, if your someone who has been working out a while and tired other pre-workouts this one might not do much for you, you might even barely notice its effects, it all depends how tolerant your body is to these kinds of things. Like someone who drinks a whole lot of coffee might not notice it as much.

It has caused some people to have quite a bad crash after using this product but I never experienced any of this. There are, however, some concerns about how well it mixes. Sometimes it clumps up, but a good shake in your blender will get rid of it. There are also some reports of it being too sweet, but I never found that too be the case. Maybe it’s because I generally like sweet things, but when you’re taking pre-workout, the amount that you have to consume for 1 serving is generally pretty small so the sweetness isn’t too much of an issue.

The ingredients are quite on the low side compared to other pre-workouts making it a little weaker, having to take 2 scoops per day, makes the value a little bad.

Bottom Line:

I personally like this product because it has such great flavors and effects. It does seem to be quite a nice basic pre-workout that comes with a decent price tag. Some of the pre-workouts that can be found are usually overlooked just because they aren’t made from an award winning company like Optimum Nutrition or Cellucor, don’t let that stop you though, a lot of these underdogs can be much better for you and cost you way less, only using the basic ingredients to support you with energy to boost your workouts.

Pre-Workouts are quite extraordinary, you mix a powder into some liquid and you drink it, it gives you an amazing taste and then a few minutes later it gives you a boost of energy making you feel that anything is possible. Be warned though they are not for everybody, if you have a sensitive stomach I wouldn’t recommend it, you might end up sat on the toilet most of the time, if you have any kidney or heart problems I wouldn’t take this either, if your naturally energetic you won’t need this, it would most likely cause you to crash really hard feeling like you are having the hangover from hell.
